TOO MUCH INFORMATION

Correva l'anno 2002. Tornavamo dall'incontro dei giovani per la comunità di Taizè in quel di Parigi, ed un mio vecchio amico, poco prima di arrivare a Milano dopo numerose ore di pullman, mi disse : "Non voglio tornare in Italia, pensare ai soliti media italiani che parlano di bambine centrifugate nella lavatrice..."
Io al momento rimasi sbigottito, da un lato mi veniva da sorridere, poi capii che lui diceva sul serio, eppure per un certo periodo di tempo non riuscii a comprendere il senso di quel discorso apparentemente stupido.
Ora, a distanza di quasi dieci anni, mi rendo conto di quanto avesse ragione, e di come l'imbarbarimento mediatico non guardi piu in faccia niente e nessuno.
Per questo motivo non scrivo della tragica vicenda di Yara, preferisco tenermi il suo ricordo nel cuore anche se non l'ho mai conosciuta personalmente. E' il momento ora delle indagini televisive, delle ricostruzioni, dei perchè, dei "se", dei "ma", e tutto finisce nel tritacarne mediatico, lo stesso di Cogne, di Avetrana, di Garlasco. Ed il dolore della famiglia merita invece rispetto, e come ho scritto nel mio intervento di ieri, doveroso ed obbligatorio silenzio.
Molti anni fa uno dei miei gruppi preferiti, i Duran Duran, pubblicarono un brano che non ebbe molto successo, ma fu precursore di quello che sarebbe avvenuto nell'ambito dell'informazione televisiva globalizzata nel terzo millennio.
